The presence of peace

Only comes from You

However, my prayer life has ceased

Why run away?

My heart is afraid and down casted

How can You forgive me anyway?

O’Lord, You are amazing

Please forgive my multitude of sins

Take me far from a place too blazing

Without You, I am empty

Weak and folly

Please restore everything I have lost

Seeing You makes me soul jolly

No more fleeing

No more hiding

What good is life to be backsliding?

You are the True Vine

That nourishes troubled, yet precious branches

No longer will I have drunk in fruitless wine

You are enough

For who You are

Your words everlasting

In a state of fasting

Glory to God our Father

When the righteous cries out

You can hear

When I seek Your Marvellous light

You come near

Washing all fears

Suddenly, now being crystal clear

Your word is beautiful

Yet simple

Even the tiniest blemish

Can stick out like a crimson pimple

Glory To God our Father

For everlasting grace
