Repentance is needed

In the world full of sin

Do not be conceited

You are loved

By our Heavenly Father above

For He is merciful

To the crushed spirit

His power convicts us

More than we can admit

Wipe those tears away child

You are protected

No longer considered defiled

No more self-condemnation

Be free in Christ Jesus

Because you are a chosen generation

Adopted into His family

Washed away all iniquity

Remembers your past not

Appearing perfect before Him

Away from a place too hot

Have no fear

In Christ Jesus, anything is possible

His love on the cross is crystal clear

Fret not

Your soul is worth more than sparrows

Direct all your focus on Christ alone

Despite the enemy throwing arrows

Dear Child

Nothing can stop Him from loving you

His love is everlasting and true

A change of heart leads to life

Away from meaningless pleasures or strife

You see

A key to repentance is to change

Yet, the world views that as “strange”

It delights our Heavenly Father

Whenever we truly change our ways

It is not promised we will live for many days

You are blessed

Not a joke or a mistake

Rebuke those lies that causes stress

Abide in Him

And He will lead you to peace
